Website Terms of Use

The free calculator

You can use the calculator without registering or paying. It estimates stitched design and fabric cutting sizes from the stitch count, fabric count and margin you select. Linen options use stitching over two threads.

Check your pattern, measure your actual fabric and allow for your chosen finishing method before cutting. Needle sizes and strand counts are suggested starting points; follow your pattern instructions and test a few stitches for coverage and comfort.

Using your results

You may copy, save or print the calculator’s project note for your own planning. The note reflects the values you entered. Fabric variation, tension and finishing requirements can affect the material you need.

The planned printable PDF

The Printable Cross-Stitch Project Planner & Thread Inventory Kit is a planned two-page US Letter PDF for printing and handwriting. It includes a project log and a repeatable blank thread stash tracker. It is not an interactive form or a complete prefilled DMC color catalog, and no physical thread or fabric is included.

The planned price is USD $3.99 for a one-time purchase. The calculator remains free. The PDF is not yet available to purchase on this website. Payment will be handled through Waffo when checkout is enabled.

Product purchase, delivery, permitted use and refund information will be provided before paid checkout is offered. This page does not promise immediate or automatic delivery, a delivery deadline or a particular refund outcome.
